Needless to say we rang in 2008 very quietly. As a matter of fact it was the most quiet new year. The Ryans came over for dinner New Year's Eve and when they left, we conked out shortly there after. (The joys of first-time parenthood)
On the 3rd Evelyn received her first round of vaccines. Yes, witnessing that made my eyes water. I think the nurse was right in saying that it's harder on the parents than it is for the baby. =)
Here's the stats of our ever growing pumpkin:
Weight: 12 lb. 7 oz. (90%)Height: 23 3/4 inches (95%)
Head Circumference: 38 1/2 cm (50%)
If you look closely you can see the 2 heart bandages on each leg from the shots. She was a brave girl! She was fussy that day. One of her legs was still sensitive the next day, but was back to herself the following day.
